INTRODUCTION
MUI NE

Mui Ne has long been considered the "Hawaii" of Vietnam. The typical scenery of Mui Ne lies in the moving lines of golden sand caused by the wind and when they are seen from afar they look like moving waves.
At just three-hours from Ho Chi Minh City, Phan Thiet and its beach at Mui Ne offer a great break from the hustle and hassles of the big city. The town itself retains some of its charm, and the colorful harbor, home to Phan Thiet’s large fishing fleet, is a popular sight with visitors. The town is known as the second most important fishery in Vietnam. Fishing, processing fish-sauce & dried sea products are traditional occupation of the residents here. With its beautiful sweeping white sandy dunes, cliffs battered by the waves of the sea and clear blue water breaking on white beaches, this place inspires many famous local photographers. The beach is shallow and sloped, and the sun rarely hides behind clouds. Nearby sightseeing places can be Suoi Tien (Fairy Spring), the Ong Hoang Building and the Poshanu Cham Tower.
The scenery looks more fascinating at dawn, when young Cham girls in green dresses go to work.
The fleet ensures that the restaurants, hotels and resorts in town and along Mui Ne beach are always able to offer some of Vietnam’s best seafood dishes. Indeed, dining is one of the many delights of a stay in Phan Thiet.
In recent years, the 21 km stretch of golden sand along Mui ne has witnessed a transformation as numerous international-standard resorts have opened along the beach front. That said, the area is not overdeveloped and the resorts tend to be sympathetically designed and constructed. The range of accommodation is wide, from basic bungalows costing just a few dollars to super – luxury resort complexes and hotels offering enough facilities to satisfy all but the most jaded traveler. Mui Ne is an ideal place for rest and relaxation. Visitors can certainly enjoy swimming in the blue crystal clear water all year around due to the warm tropical climate.
